Seeing into Tomorrow.

TYPE: HAIKU
The haiku is a Japanese poetic form that consists of three lines, with five syllables in the first line, seven in the second, and five in the third. This Haiku in particular was created by Richard Wright, an African American poet. I designed this Haiku for a project in Illustrator to explore hierarchy and type. Type is very important because without that eye grabbing text, the viewer would get bored. So I explored Adobe Fonts and found some really amazing typefaces that I felt described the words themselves. I enjoyed this project because it helped me learn hierarchy which is important because it establishes order within your work.
